From Cap Aurora you can reach Jupiter, Venus, Neptun, Olimp, Saturn and Mangalia on foot or in a few minutes by car. Jupiter and Venus are five minutes away. Neptun and Olimp, to the north, have the most restaurants and clubs. Mangalia, 4 kilometres away, has the marina and the remains of the Callatis fortress.
Jupiter, five minutes north
The first resort north of Cap Aurora. It has a lake, promenades and more terraces than Cap Aurora, which is very small.
You can walk there along the clifftop, or drive it in a few minutes.
Venus, five minutes south
Immediately to the south. A long beach, with more room than the resorts to the north.
A good option if you want to change beach for a day without driving far.
Neptun and Olimp, to the north
The two resorts run into one another and form the liveliest area on the southern coast.
This is where most of the restaurants, clubs and shops are. It is the natural choice for an evening out if you are staying in Cap Aurora.
Mangalia, 4 kilometres away
The town Cap Aurora administratively belongs to. It has the marina, the railway station, larger shops and the area hospital.
It is also where the remains of the Callatis fortress stand, one of the oldest Greek settlements on the Romanian coast.
NIBIRU, between Costinești and Tuzla
About 20 kilometres north, is NIBIRU, open since the summer of 2026, home to Beach, Please! and the other big summer festivals. See the 2027 calendar.
